"The Me I Always Wanted To Be"
When people remember me I want to be portrayed as "the-nice, sweet, caring, loving, hard-working girl." Since I am a very stubborn person it enables me to persistent. Once I say something or set a goal for myself I push myself to strive for it and accomplish it no matter what it takes. Every time someone tells me i cant do something i will do anything to prove them wrong. My greatest strength would have to be that I am hard-working. I believe my hardworking personality will help me lead a succesful life and help others achieve what they want. Because I am hardworking I dont give up easily because i determined to finish what I have started. I realized this quality of mine when I went to boarding school. I was determined to help two kids in particular. I wanted them to learn basics of math and learn a little bit of how to read and write english. I worked really hard all year long spending more than 40 hours in the orphange teaching these kids. Although i got frustrated a couple times i never gave up on them and at the end they learned exactly what i wanted them to learn. In the near future I wish to continue this because I want to be able to help the illiteracy rate in the world. I can be a leader to those who need my help and influence their life. I want to be known as an "influential mentor". When i do something good for someone it makes me happy and I feel like an accomplished person. In my short life that I have lived so far I have learned one thing that money is not everything but time can make a difference in the lives of those who are in great need of it.

Two very solid posts here in the last couple, Fahrin! In coming to know you, I admire and sense your intensity. You say you may not be confident in yourself, but you are a driven young lady and I think if you can learn to channel that drive without letting it overwhelm you, you will be most successful.
ReplyDeleteIn your posts, consider a general organization moving forward. They still read as very "stream of consciousness." Think beginning, middle, and end a bit; try also to build in some of the concepts and throughts from classroom discussions and visits. Watch, too, for basic grammar like capitalized "I," etc.
Your participation in class, which is one of the course's predominate grading elements, has been strong. Continue to be confident speaking out - building on the comments of others, sharing your own thoughts, and questioning our visiting leaders!
